Mr. Richard Yung, a senator of French Senate, and a former Director of International Technical Cooperation of European Patent Office (EPO), visited East IP on February 28, 2005. During the visit, Mr. Yung discussed with Dr. Lulin Gao (East IP's Chairman) and Dr. Singer John Huang (East IP's CEO) regarding current developments of intellectual property both in China and Europe and future cooperation between EPO and China. Dr. Gao and Dr. Huang will visit EPO in mid year this year. During the meeting, they also explored the possibility of cooperation in the intellectual property field between China and France.
