As one of the sponsors to the Cooperation Program between SIPO and the John Marshall Law School, Dr. Lulin Gao participated in the 10th anniversary ceremonies for this program. SIPO's Commissioner Mr. Wang Jingchuan and the John Marshall Law School's Dean Ms. Patricia Mell jointly signed a new cooperation agreement.

The good relationship between SIPO and the John Marshall Law School dates back to 1994, and more than 70 officials from SIPO have received IP law training since then. Nine of them have earned Masters of Law from the John Marshall Law School in 2002. Currently, there are 13 officials doing master program at the John Marshall Law School.
