Our Chairman, Dr. Lulin Gao, heading the Chinese delegation, attended the 14th Sino-Japan IP Seminar held in Chengdu on Sept.19 and Sept.20, 2005. The seminar was hosted by ACPAA and the China Patent Association of Japan Association for Promotion of International Trade; the topics for this seminar were "Patent Infringement Confirmation" and "Enterprise IP Strategy".

Mr. Li Zheng, ex-Dean of the Patent Reexamination Board of SIPO，and Mr. Cheng Yongshun, former deputy Chief Justice of the third civil tribunal of the Beijing High People's Court addressed the seminar on behalf of the Chinese delegation. The titles for their respective speeches were "Principles and Case Study of Patent Reexamination and Invalidation" and "Several New Problems in Patent Litigation".
