As a member of the Board of Advisors of IIPI, Dr. Lulin Gao attended the IIPI Board of Advisors meeting held in Washington D.C on April 13, 2005.
Founded in 1998, IIPI is a non-profit and non-governmental organization with a background in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The establishment of a Board of Advisors is expected to help promote the development of an intellectual property system in developing countries.
The members of the Board of Advisors are reputable experts and scholars in the field of international intellectual property and include James E. Rogan (former commissioner of USPTO), Ryan Jacques Michel (Professor of Georgetown University), and Toyomaro YOSHIDA (Director General of AIPPI, JAPAN, former Deputy Commissioner of the JPO).
In June, IIPI will cooperate with CompTIA and China Software Industry Association to host a forum on the Construction of a Competitive Software Industry Strategy in Beijing. Our Chairman Dr. Lulin Gao and CEO Dr. Shenjia Huang are invited to give speeches at the meeting.
