Our Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Internet Society of China, Dr. Gao, chaired the opening ceremony of the 3rd China Internet Conference hosted by the Internet Society of China in Beijing on September 1, 2004. During the Asia-Pacific Digital Entertainment Summit, one of the forums at this conference, Dr. Gao promulgated the Letter of Sponsorship for the China Original Games.

This Internet Conference is the top Internet Industry conference in China. Mr. Ju HUANG, the Vice Premier of China sent to the Conference a congratulatory letter, which was read by Mr. Xudong WANG, the Ministry of Information Industry Minister during the opening ceremony. Relevant government officials and experts including Mr. David H. Crocker, founder of Email, participated in the discussions on various Internet issues.

During the Conference, the 2003 Report on the Development of Internet in China, which was promulgated in June 2004, was also discussed. The section regarding Internet Intellectual Property contained in this report was contributed by East IP.
