Invited by our Chairman, Dr. LuLin Gao, Mr. Richard Yung, the Director of International Technical Cooperation of European Patent Office (EPO) gave a speech at the seminar co-sponsored by All China Patent Agent Association (ACPAA) and East IP in Beijing on July 23, 2003. The speech of Mr. Yung centered on the new developments of EU patent system. After the speech, Mr. Yung, Dr. Gao, Mr. De Yuan (the secretary of ACPAA), Mr. Singer Huang (East IP's CEO) and Mr. KeFei Yu (East IP's US partner) exchanged their views about the difference between patent systems of Europe, China and US.
